Lions Heart Sentrum One pride · every kind of courage

Every child deserves space to find their ROAR .

A ROAR is not always loud. It may be a first word, a brave question, a calmer transition, or the courage to try again. At Lions Heart, children are welcomed as individuals, supported with care, and given room to grow at their own pace.

Welcome

Courage deserves to be seen before it is ever asked to perform.

At Lions Heart, every child arrives carrying their own pace, their own wonder, their own quiet courage. We do not rush it. We make room for it. We watch for the small moments, the first reach, the brave question, the calm transition, and we name them.

The ROAR story

Every child's courage follows the same quiet arc.

We walk it with them, one brave step at a time, from the first moment of belonging to the moment they find their own voice.

Stage 1 / 4

I am seen.

Courage begins when a child realises, ‘They really see me.’

What it looks like
  • Known before taught
  • Dignity
  • Individual support
  • Personal rhythms

And then, they find their ROAR .

You do not have to be the loudest lion in the pride. You only need a safe place to find the brave voice that is already yours.

What we hold

Five quiet convictions that shape every day here.

01

Belonging

is where we begin.

02

Dignity

is how we speak.

03

Curiosity

is allowed to make a mess.

04

Independence

is built one real step at a time.

05

Christian care

is the belief that every child carries God-given worth.

Our way

Courage grows differently when a child feels understood.

Four principles shape every Lions Heart day. They are quiet on purpose, because the work itself is loud enough.

01

Known before taught

We begin with the person in front of us, their temperament, interests, pace, strengths and support needs. A child who feels known can risk trying.

02

Small enough to notice

Calmer groups create room for meaningful relationships, thoughtful guidance and the little wins others miss. We keep our groups deliberately small.

03

Whole-child growth

Learning matters. So do confidence, communication, independence, friendship, movement, rest and joy. Progress is personal, and it is measured that way.

04

Families in the circle

Home and school work best as partners. We keep communication human, respectful and centred on the child, never the mould.

A day here

Before a child can ROAR , they need room to breathe.

An unhurried day, shaped around the child. Time to settle, focus, share a meal, rest, and move freely. The garden is always open.

The garden is always open.

  1. 06:30

    Warm welcome

A soft landing. Breakfast for those who need it, and a face that knows them at the door.

  2. 08:30

    Long focus

Uninterrupted time to build, paint, read and discover. The work of childhood, taken seriously.

  3. 11:30

    Together at the table

Fresh meals, real cutlery, real conversation. Allergies known and respected by every hand that serves.

  4. 13:00

    Quiet hours

Rest, stories, or slow-paced choice work. Room to breathe between the louder parts of the day.

  5. 15:00

    Outside voices

The garden, the field, the sky. Then homework and hobbies for the older ones, the day still theirs.
